Biography: 

Kathryn’s law practice focuses on Family law, Civil Litigation and Criminal Defense.  She brings knowledge, compassion and commitment to her law practice, giving every single one of her clients unique, tailor-made and targeted solutions.

Kathryn is originally from Denver, Colorado.  She went to Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa, where she played varsity Soccer, worked as the Opinion Editor of the school newspaper, the Scarlett and Black, and majored in Political Science.  Kathryn graduated from Grinnell College in 2001.

Kathryn went to law school in Washington, D.C., where she attended The David A. Clarke School of Law at the University of the District of Columbia, graduating in 2007.   During her time there, Kathryn became a certified student advocate, allowing her to practice as a law student.  As a student advocate, she performed over 700 hours of clinical legal work, providing pro bono legal services to those in need.  

In 2009, Kathryn clerked for a York County Court of Common Pleas Judge, the Honorable Maria Musti Cook.  Upon completing her clerkship in 2010, Kathryn practiced with the Law Office of Marc Roberts.  

She and Charles Hobbs created Hobbs & Hunter, LLC in 2013.

She is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and in the United States District Court  Middle District of Pennsylvania.   Kathryn has practiced in Adams, Dauphin, Lebanon, Lancaster, Lehigh Valley, Potter, Philadelphia and York Counties.  She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the York County Bar Association, where she participates in the Social Committee and the Family Law Section.

Kathryn lives in Harrisburg, with her husband, Ryan, and daughter, Harper.
